The detour?

Today I went for a jog on the route which runs from Yew Tee to Jalan Teck Whye. On the way, at Pioneer JC, I met Wei Hao again jogging in the opposite direction. Quite the coincidence I say, for my second time jogging around the neighborhood. Wei Hao then decided to change his course and jog with me to Jalan Teck Whye. 

I'm kind of grateful for having met him on the way as it had made my journey to the end point more entertaining with someone beside. However, I had some errands to run after reaching the end point and had to split off with him. It was to buy oolong tea for a friend and there I was, thinking maybe I will be able to get it from the Sheng Siong supermarket at 10 mile junction only to find out the whole place is under revamp and there's no more Sheng Siong over there.

Next, in my bid to find tea, I jog over to ITE Choa Chu Kang Shop & Save but to no avail. Following that, I decided to ask mum where the nearest supermarket is and gave her a call. She told me it's at Teck Whye avenue and that she would meet up with me there. With that, I took yet another detour to the meeting point. 

With that, I wonder how far I had ran and all but hey it's not too far I guess. Hopefully, there's no need for such a day with so many detours again.
